The ScalableOGo Project
Scalable OGo (also known as SOGo / Scalable OpenGroupware.org) is a free groupware server focused on scalability instead of depth in functionality. The web interface uses human readable URLs and can be accessed according to REST web service ideas. It requires no server side session.
The server stores its data in the iCalendar and vCard formats and therefore has no data model inconsistencies with native clients. It easily connects using GroupDAV and CalDAV connectors, so any standards compliant calendar or address book client can be used to access it.
ScalableOGo is built on top of the OpenGroupware.org frameworks (SOPE) and has been in development since August 2004. Today it is actively continued under the SOGo name by Inverse inc. and lives at sogo.nu.
